I am eagerly looking forward to what's in store for me in the year 2016 and I am glad that 2015 is finally coming to an end.
Despite a rough 2015, there were a few streaks of light which I would like to highlight for this post here:
- Early 2015 I sold a painting for a good cause. -- Jigsaw Canvas Show at the Sunnyvale Art Gallery, Sunnyvale, CA, January 2015
- I also got an opportunity to teach iPad art techniques to adults and seniors at the Pacific Art Leaugue and at Menlo Park Community center, Feb 2015
- My painting was Juried by the City of Campbell, CA and I was Selected to do a Mural for the City, May 2015.
- I got to teach some wonderful children on how to create art using the iPad at the City of Sunnyvale-- Sunnyvale Community Center,CA, at Cupertino Community Center and at Los Altos Community Center. June-July- August 2015
- I was ( My painting was on display) the featured Artist for the months of August and September 2015 at the Sunnyvale Mayor's Office, Sunnyvale, CA
- My iPad painting was Juried and Selected by some of the top iPad Artists around the Globe and I had a show at the Palo Alto Art Center, Palo Alto, CA. August 2015
- Some of my paintings have been chosen for sale by the Triton Museum of Art-- Museum Store, Santa Clara,CA, September 2015
- My iPad Painting made it to the Spooky Art Festival for Halloween this year. October 2015
- I teamed up with some wonderful group of local artists and we all had our group show in November this year at the Sunnyvale Art Gallery, Sunnyvale, CA. November 2015
- Two of my Doodles have been Chosen for a Coloring book which is going to be created for a worthy cause. ( December, 2015)
- A picture of me with my students being published at the Sunnyvale Community Center Activity Book Nov 2015 to Feb 2016.
- I recently took a class on Mosaics art at Fremont High School Sunnyvale, CA and got to meet some wonderful and inspiring ladies /Instructor. Will post pictures once I am done with it.
Last week Dec 15, 2015 I took a class at the Mountain View Public Library , Mountain View, CA on watercolor and I created these two Christmas Gift tags using watercolor pencils.
