2) For the month of June 2019 Colored Pencil Magazine, my artwork was published in this article " Giving away your art".

Also created one more painting with the same lily which was published in the 20th "Color" Member show Anniversary book this year. “The Beautiful Lily” is a part of a series which I started working on early this year. This series is called “ A Celebration of Beauty in Nature”. On one of my trips to a Botanical garden, I first saw this beautiful lily. I was attracted by its radiant yellow glistening under the glowing sun. It was like a love at first sight moment for me. Then and there I knew that this flower will be a part of this series of flower drawings. I took enough pictures from this trip for future reference. I worked layer upon layer mixing colors until I got the right values. I totally enjoyed doing this art piece and had a blast as I laid down each stroke of color to capture its beauty , drama, mood and texture.
3) The competition was fierce with a record of 907 entries this year (2019).
I am honored and happy to inform you all that my Colored Pencil artwork "The Scarlet Ibis" has been selected for the Colored Pencil Hidden Treasures Volume 5 Publication this year (2019).
