It's been almost 12 days since MDAC summit at the Pacific Art League, Palo Alto,CA. It was a wonderful experience for me. Got to meet a lots of interesting artists and also got to try, explore and create art with new apps. My particular favorite ones were iColorama session , Collage session , Portrait session using Sketch club app and 3D Printing demo. I have been hooked onto all these apps ever since the summit and I have been voraciously creating art with these apps. Here is the proof of the pudding !
Note: I generally shy away from portraits as this is not my forte. The above painting was my first attempt using sketch club and I pretty happy with the way this painting turned out. Since I mostly paint abstracts, I liked the way this painting turned out ( it gives an abstract feel to this painting). I created this painting at the MDAC summit's portrait demo session.
Note: The above painting is created from a photo that I took of the super moon that was visible last weekend. When I posted this painting in the iPad Artists Facebook's page, I never expected that this will receive so many likes.
Note: The above painting is a quick doodle on one of my favorite actors who passed away yesterday. When I posted this painting in the iPad Artists Facebook's page, I never expected that this will also receive so many likes.
I am yet to make friends with Procreate and Skribl. Will eventually get there. Meanwhile my friend and also a great artist made a video of the MDAC summit and posted it on Sunnyvale Art Club's facebook page. Here is the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIoNMwl1B8o
Thanks for saying "Hello" to my blog. See you all soon with another post. Until then take care and have a creative day !
